![]() East PennsylvaniaPennsylvania Sunshine Solar Rebate ProgramThe Pennsylvania Sunshine program offers rebates to residential and small commercial residents that install photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal. It was authorized in July 2008 by the state legislature and began accepting applications in May 2009 under the administration of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Only systems installed after the date of program opening are eligible for rebates. The list below describes incentive levels and other program rules as they stood at the date of program opening.
PPL Electric Utilities - LEED Certification Partnership ProgramEligible Renewable/Other Technologies: Passive Solar Space Heat, Solar Water Heat, Solar Space Heat, Photovoltaics, Wind, Biomass, Hydroelectric, Geothermal Heat Pumps, CHP/Cogeneration, Daylighting Applicable Sectors: Nonprofit, Builder/Developer, Architects and Designers PPL Electric Utilities offers grants to reimburse non-profit economic development corporations, building architects and designers, and developers for certain costs associated with constructing LEED certified green buildings. Both registration fees and certification fees are eligible for reimbursement, including costs associated with design review, construction review, and initial certification review. Buildings that achieve LEED certification are eligible for a grant of up to $5,000 while those that achieve LEED Gold certification are eligible for an additional $5,000.
