Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) offers a variety of programs and funding
opportunities to homeowners, business owners and institutions interested in

CCEF - Solar PV

CCEF's solar photovoltaic (PV) program offers qualified installers monetary incentives
that will be passed on to customers in the form of rebates. CCEF's solar rebate
is based on the design efficiency of your system. Your installer will calculate
how much electricity your PV system will produce as compared with an equivalent
system under ideal conditions. This calculation is based on your site and
equipment.

CCEF - CT Solar Lease

- 15-year term. Available to owners of one- to four-family homes with a household income up to 200% of the area's median income.

The CT
Solar Lease Program is an innovative program designed to make solar energy
systems available to moderate income Connecticut homeowners. CT
Solar Lease™ requires no down payment
and provides for a low cost lease payment, fixed for 15 years. At the end of the initial lease term, the homeowner has the
option to 1) extend the lease for an additional 5 years reduced monthly payment
2) purchase the system at the then fair market value or 3) remove the system
and return it to CT Solar Leasing.
CCEF - On-Site Renewable DG (Distributed Generation) Program

- Maximum Amount:
- $850,000 per project for PV projects; $4 million per project for other eligible projects.

Connecticut - DPUC - Low-Interest Loans for Customer-Side Distributed Resources

A low interest loan program is available for
customer-side distributed resource projects of 50 kW or greater. The
interest rate will be 1% below the customer's applicable rate or no more than

Property Tax Exemption

- 100% exemption for renewable energy property; municipalities are authorized to exempt CHP systems
Connecticut provides a property tax exemption for solar energy systems. The exemption is available for systems that serve single-family homes or multi-family dwellings limited to four units.
